SHE IS NOT THE DTR OF LYDIA MAULE, DTR OF LEWIS MAULE. She is the dtr of a 
Lydia Maule/Mall (see below)
1981 book:
In the 1870's, Abigail lived in Salem, Ohio.
 Hannah Townsend was a great grandniece of Zillah Walker (see 1E).

in the 1850 census for Perry, Columbiana Co., Ohio there is an Abigail Kellog, age 16 
(b 1833), with Henry and Abigail Mall, both 63 (b 1787), b NJ. So where is her father 
and mother? We know her mother is Lydia, and is in Richmond at one point.
The marriage of Abby to Joel is in Priscilla Walker Street's book and see Stratton book 
for statement her mother is Lydia and her father is Oliver.
Now, a few entries down on the same census page is Martha Mall, 30, b Ohio, and 
Elizabeth Mall, 9 or 7, b Pa. With them is Elizabeth Hunt 60, b Ohio
Also in Perry, Columbiana Co. is Thomas Mall, age 28, b IRELAND, worker on railroad
Then, in Butler, Columbiana Co., I find Oliver Kellog, farmer, b Ohio, age 45, wife 
Elizabeth, age 46, b Ireland, Henry Kellog, 15, farmer, and Lydia A. Kellog, age 5.
So could his wife Lydia, mother of Abigail, have died, he remarries, has children 
named after his first wife and her presumptive father, while his dtr Abigail is living with 
her grandparents. If so, this is a different Lydia. Now need to track her down. Ugh.

1860 she and Joel, and Emma and Cora, are in Perry, Columbiana Co., Ohio. He is a 
farmer. All 4 b. Ohio
1900 they are still there, he b Jan 1824 in Ohio, md 46 yrs, f b NJ m b Pa, no occ, she 
b May 1835, in Ohio, parents b Ohio 4 ch 4 alive
So the Lydia Maule that is her mother is not Lydia dtr of Lewis Maule.
Ohio Marriages on ancestry.com gives marr date as 26 Oct 1854 in Columbiana Co.
