1981 book:
George was educated in Phila. public schools.  The 1900 census listed him as a corn 
merchant.  He was also a dealer in upholstery supplies and wrote poems and the lyrics 
to an opera.  From 1883 to 1886 George was a Democratic member of the Pa. House 
of Representatives.  He was also a member of the N.J. Assembly.    George lived at 
one point in Billingsford, N.J., where he was the manager of the estate of Col. Rogers 
(founder of the National Baseball League).
   George did not marry.

etc with him

wrote poems and an opera but didn't get music composed
lived in Billingsford and was mgr of Col. Rogers' estate (Rogers was founder of
