Levi was a miller and a flour merchant. In 1874, Levi moved to Malvern, Pa., where he
entered into the coal and lumber business with his uncle David Evans (1E922) and his
cousin William Penn Evans (1E9215/1E7255). Levi purchased the Malvern Flour Mills
from William. Levi retired in 1915.
Levi was possessed of a quiet courtesy, a sympathetic and cordial greeting,
and a charming manner.
Sidney was from near Parkerville, Pa. Rachel House's sister Eliza married David Evans
(1E922).
