PHILLIP L. BROWN, age 83, of Marion, died on Friday, April 11, 2008, at Millers Merry 
Manor, Marion. 

Mr. Brown was born on July 31, 1924, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Elmer 
Brown and Sarah Moon. On March 5, 1948, he married Rosemary Miller. She preceded 
him in death in 1997. 

He was in bus maintenance for the Marion Community School District. He served in 
the U.S. Air Force during WWII.

Survivors include Daughter, Joyce Wilson of Marion, Indiana; Son, Phillip L. Brown, 
Jr. of Marion, Indiana; Sister, Ruth Cupps of Warsaw, Missouri; 5 Grandchildren and 9 
Great-Grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary in 1997 and his daughter, Carol E. 
Brown in 2007.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Raven-Choate 
Funeral Home with the Reverend Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating.

Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.

Friends may call from 4 -8 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 at Raven-Choate Funeral 
Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
