Edith Helen Miles March 2, 1923 - Feb. 2, 2015 MISHAWAKA - Edith Helen Miles, 91, 
of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015, in St. Joseph Regional 
Medical Center. Edith was born on March 2, 1923, in Florence, AL, to the late Vera 
Lee and Oril Hermine Yates. On January 25, 1941, in Florence, AL, Edith was married 
to Owen William Miles, who preceded her in death on April 3, 1995. Edith is survived 
by her 3 daughters, Frances (Dave) Bridwell of Mishawaka, IN, Nancy (Brian) Fry of 
Mishawaka, IN, Jonnie Lee (Doug) Keeble of Mesa, AZ. She is also survived by her 4 
grandchildren, Andy (Beth) Thomas, Sara (Eddie) Thomas, Joe (Somer) Keeble, Brian 
D. Keeble; and her 6 great-grandchildren, Annastasia, Alexis and Adrianna Hunter, 
Kylie, Kelsie and Alex Thomas. She was preceded in death by 9 siblings. Edith was a 
member of South Side General Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She loved her 
antiques and her quilt collection. She always had her bag packed and coat on ready 
to go anytime, anywhere. Her grandchildren loved to hear her many stories, and they 
remained a daily part of her life. And we can't forget her dog Cricket! Visitation for 
Edith will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015, from 4-8 pm in Bubb Funeral Chapel, 
3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 
2015, at 11 am in the funeral home with visitation 1 hour prior. Burial will follow at 
Fairview Cemetery.
