Frank O. Hosch

Frank O. Hosch, 89, a resident of Shelton, died Sunday, April 8, 1990, in Mason 
General Hospital, Shelton.

He was born Feb. 22, 1901, in Gray Eagle, Minn., to Nicklos and Emma Helen (Jones) 
Hosch. He attended public schools in Tumwater and attended West Point in New York 
for three years. He was graduated from Oklahoma A&M University.

From 1919 to 1921 and in 1945, Mr. Hosch served in the military.

After his discharge, he worked as a mechanic, and was a welder on floats for the 
Tournament of Roses Parade in California. In the 1940's he worked for Olympia Oil 
and Wood.

Mr. Hosch also lived in Texas. He returned to Olympia in 1981 and then moved to 
Shelton.

He was a football player and boxer. He also was a master musician and performed at 
senior citizen dances in California.

Surviving are a son, Joseph L., Salem, Ore.; a daughter, Janice L. Rietdorf, Shelton; 
also two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a niece.

Internment service will begin at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 4, in Masonic Memorial Park, 
Tumwater. The Rev. Mark Sartori of Mountain View Alliance Church in Shelton will 
officiate. Arrangements are by Mills and Mills Funeral Directors.
