almost certainly the son of Hamilton Prioleau Bee, speaker of the Texas House of 
Representatives, general in the Confederate ARmy, secretary for the boundary 
commission that established the U.S-Texas boundary, negotiator for Treaty of 
Tehuacana Creek, secretary of the Texas Senate in the First Texas Legislature, 
served ten years in Texas House of Representatives, and his wife Mildred Tarver. The 
father and brother of the older Hamilton Bee are also very renowned.
