EUNICE, N.M. (Special) - Services for Leonard William Fristoe, 80, of Murray, Ky., will 
be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Eunice with the Rev. Keeney 
Dickenson officiating. The Rev. Ed Grogan will assist.

Burial will be at Brunson Memorial Eunice Cemetery under the direction of Calvary 
Funeral Home of Eunice.

He died Thursday, Sept. 4, 1997, at Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky.

He was born July 6, 1917, in Roswell, N.M. He graduated from Tatum High School. He 
married Frances Claudine Poole on Dec. 1, 1941, in Lawton, Okla. He attended a 
business college in Lubbock, and had worked in the Eunice area since 1930. In 
Lubbock, he had been a police officer for 10 years. He served in the U.S. Army during 
World War II, and was a member of the Disabled Veterans.

He was a retired rancher and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Claude of Lubbock and Linn of Murray, Ky.; five 
grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
