worked for Penna RR in construction dept at Lancaster until 1921, then worked for 
Penna Dept of Highways, came to Franklin in 1926. In 937 he and H. S. Gahagan 
purcased Franklin News Co which he opearted until 1952 when he retired.
At St John's he was senior warden emeritus, was superintendent of Sunday School for 
10 years, past president of Franklin Rotary Club

name spelled Emelie, occ retired news co prop.
