Arizona and her Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin. She was a member of Phi Beta 
Kappa.
	Mary Eleanor taught Spanish at the University of Arizona, the University of 
Wisconsin, Wellesley College, Monmouth College, and Wilson College. At Wilson, she 
was chair of the Spanish Dept. She did not marry.
