	Howard served in the U.S. Navy before World War II and in the U.S. Army 
during World War II.  He was wounded during active duty in World War II, and was a 
prisoner of war in Germany.  He received a Distinguished Service Medal, the Purple 
Heart, and the Infantry Medal.

	Howard and Gene have no children.
	In 1978, Howard moved to Greenleaf, Idaho.  In 1981, Howard lived at Rte. 
2, Box 218, Caldwell, Id. 83605.  In 1986, the address changed to 2441 Edison Ave.,
