AMHERST -- Patricia L. Berrington (nee: Morgan), 69 years of age, and a resident of 
Amherst, passed away July 24, 2010 at her home following a brief illness. 
 
She was born January 23, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio where she was raised before 
moving to Cincinnati. Amherst has been her home for the last twenty-one years. 
 
In addition to working at Parker Hannifin in Elyria, she also worked along side her 
husband, George, on various construction projects. 
 
She enjoyed caring for animals, especially the raccoons around the apartment complex 
and spending time with her family. 
 
She will be missed by her husband of twenty-one years, George L. Berrington; her 
sons Henry Jatzek and Howard Jatzek, both of Cincinnati; her daughter Terri McCarty 
of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her brother and his wife 
Richard and Connie Morgan of Sheffield Village 
 
She was preceded in death by her daughter Katherine Ward; by her grandson; by her 
parents Robert and Ada Martha Morgan (nee: Winchester); by her brother Edward 
Morgan; and by her sister Sally Morris. 
 
Friends may call Tuesday, July 27, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. until closing prayers at 8:00 
p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst.
