"Christina McCool, 44, 3713 Redbud Ln., died in her home at 8:15 a.m., Wednesday 
from apparent heart failure.
"She was the wife of Richard McCool and was associated with her husband as the 
director and secretary and treasurer of the Great Lakes Home Corp. They were married 
in 1948 and he survives. She was known as Chris.
"Born in Goldsmith, Oct. 30, 1928, she was the daughter of W. Guy and Velma 
(Lineback) Hinkle. She had lived most of her life in the Kokomo area, but had lived in 
Leesburg for four years. She returned to Kokomo in 1971.
"A 1946 graduate of Kokomo High School, she attended Indiana University, 
Bloomington. She was active in the First Congregational Church and a member of Tri 
Kappa Associate Unit and a past president and state recommendation chairman of Tri 
Delta Alumni Association.
"Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Steven (Kathryn) Hampton, North 
Webster, and Mrs. Suzanne McCool, a sophomore at the University of Missouri; a son, 
Rick McCool, at home, the parents of Tipton R. R. 1, and a sister, Mrs. Constance 
Cheek, Kokomo.
"Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Ellers Funeral Chapel with the Rev. 
John J. Staton officiating.
"Friends may call at the funeral chapel between 4-9 p.m. Thursday and Friday 
morning."
