	Mabel attended Friends Boarding School, Barnesville, Ohio, and Westtown 
Friends School, Westtown, Pa.
	After graduating, Mabel became secretary to the business manager of 
Westtown Friends School. Later, she was bookkeeper and typing instructor at Friends 
Boarding School, Barnesville, Ohio. Mabel then enrolled in Muskingham College, but 
married before she finished.
William was a schoolteacher. Mabel and William had no children.
Mabel and William lived successively in Philadelphia, Pa., Havertown, Pa., and 
Kendal at Longwood, Kennett Square, Pa.
Mabel has written a book about her father and his family, entitled "Gilbert E. Thomas, 
His Book".
