Byron attended Friends Boarding School, Barnesville, Ohio, and Wooster
College. He then returned to Friends Boarding School as a physics teacher. During
World War II Byron was drafted and went to Civilian Public Service Camp for his
alternative service.
Evelyn is a talented artist who keeps a studio in her mountain home near Hiawassee,
Ga.
Byron was director of various Civilian Public Service Camps. Evelyn was a
dietitian. After the war, they lived on Byron's parents' farm and then Byron became
principal of Friends Boarding School, Barnesville, Ohio. He resigned to become
organizational director of Belmont and Monroe Counties, Ohio, Farm Bureau. Byron
died of cancer.
In 1981, Evelyn lived at Box 353, Hiawassee, Ga. 30546.
