obit of John Hale Fisher
HAMPDEN - Shirley J. (Soltwisch) Fisher died Thursday, Dec. 26, 2002 at Baystate 
Medical Center. Shirley was a volunteer at the Hampden Senior Center. She is 
survived by her husband, John Fisher; her son, Michael Fisher of Wilbraham; three 
daughters, Julia Fisher of Enfield, CT, Patricia Pawlowicz of Hampden, and Cynthia 
Coycle of East Longmeadow; and 8 grandchildren. Visiting hours will be on Sunday 
from 4-8 p.m. at Hafey East Longmeadow Chapels, 120 Shaker Road. Friends and 
family are invited to meet to the First Church of Christ, 763 Longmeadow St., 
Longmeadow, MA on Monday at 10 a.m. for a funeral service. Burial will be private 
and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may 
take the form of contributions to the Hampden Senior Center, Allen St., Hampden, MA
