Mollie Mahoney 
Passed away in San Rafael, on March 13, 2003, at the age 87, after bravely facing 
cancer. "Mary Elizabeth Phippen" was born in Lexington, MA. She was a resident of 
the San Rafael Commons for 23 years and enjoyed working at "Variety Fair" store in 
the Montecito Shopping Center. Mollie was the beloved mother of Linda Mahoney 
Jacobson of Isleton, CA and Anne Colby Mahoney of Lynn, MA, the grandmother of 
Laury Miles Macauley, Timothy M. Miles, Julie Miles Housel, Diane Wolf, and Laura 
Jurasek, and the great-grandmother of ten great-grandchildren. She is survived by her 
sister, Jane Kenerson of MA, her brother, Arthur Phippen, Jr. of NY, and by many 
friends at the San Rafael Commons. Private services will be held at a future date.
