NEW YORK -- Geraldine Poor Saunders, also known as India DuBois, 52, died 
Saturday at Calvary Hospital, Bronx. 
Born in Salem, Mass., she lived in the Pennington and Princeton areas more than 25 
years. 
A poet, singer and writer, she attended Princeton University and graduated from 
Cornell and Columbia universities. She was a member of Witherspoon Presbyterian 
Church, Princeton. 
She is survived by two daughters, Autumn Saunders of Seattle, and Nyla Saunders of 
Brooklyn; her parents, George and Gladys Poor of Marblehead, Mass.; three sisters, 
Jean Burden of New York City, Sally Beck of Belgrade, Maine, and Susan Poor of 
Marblehead, Mass; and a grandson, Julian Saunders. 
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Witherspoon Presbyterian Church, 124 
Witherspoon St., Princeton, with the Rev. John White officiating. 
There will be no calling hours. 
Memorial contributions may be made to Foundation for Breast Cancer, 5005 LBJ 
Freeway, Suite 370, Dallas, Texas 75244. 
Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
