Floyd R. Eck

Floyd Russell Eck, 92, of Richmond, Va., died peaceably on Monday, Aug. 3, 2009.

Born Nov. 8, 1916, in Waldron, he was the son of Russell Joseph and Tressie Lorene 
(Sanders) Eck. He was married to Alice Francis (Rardin) Eck for 74 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Millard Eck.

Mr. Eck had been reared in Waldron, Rushville and Morristown, graduating from 
Morristown High School in 1934

He had been employed with Deepfreeze and Amana in Chicago, Ill., and Reynolds 
Metals in Louisville, Ky., Richmond, Nashville, Tenn., and Albany, Ga., before taking 
early retirement.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
