Clyde C. Eck, 89, of Fairland died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at Morning Pointe Assisted 
Living in Franklin.

Born Oct. 27, 1919, in Waldron, he was the son of Russell and Tressie (Sanders) Eck. 
He married Marguerite L. Scott on Dec. 26, 1941, and she preceded him in death on 
Feb. 9, 2009.

Survivors include his son, Todd (wife, Sally) Eck of Franklin; and grandchildren, 
Amanda Eck of Franklin and Dustin (wife, Lindsey) Eck of Wanamaker.

He also was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Millard Eck and Floyd 
Eck.

Mr. Eck was a lifelong resident of the Shelby County area.

He had been a technician for Eli Lilly in Greenfield for 35 years.

Mr. Eck was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, attaining the rank of 
master sergeant.

He was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and the Sugar Creek Masonic 
Lodge No. 279 in Fairland.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 
437 Amos Road.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Tom 
Strong officiating.

Burial will be in New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sugar Creek Masonic Lodge No. 279, in care 
of Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
