ANGOLA -  Catherine E. Gerard, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at her 
home in Angola surrounded by her family. She was born March 3, 1942 to Morris and 
Alice (Kurtz) Williams in Conneaut, Ohio. She graduated from Conneaut High School. 
She married Philip L. Gerard on March 30, 1963. She was a loving wife, mother to not 
only her children but to all their friends, and business woman. Cathie is survived by 
her husband Philip L. Gerard of Angola; her son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and 
Jessica Gerard of Angola; one brother Henry and Josette Williams of Connecticut; five 
grandchildren Nicholas and Jillian Gerard, Jakob Gerard, Ashley Gerard, Max Gerard 
and Zoe Gerard; and two great-grandchildren Abram Gerard and Adalyn Gerard. She 
was preceded in death by her parents and her son John P. Gerard on August 12, 
2006. Memorials may be made in Cathie's memory to the Steuben County Humane 
Society. A Celebration of Life Party will start at 3:00 PM on June 6, 2015 at her home.
