1926-2006 

 Mr. George Frederick "Fred" Ratcliffe, 80, of Michigan City, died Thursday, Dec. 28, 
2006, at Saint Anthony Memorial Hospital, Michigan City. 

 He was born Oct. 22, 1926, in Detroit, Mich., to Roy and Josephine (Kircher) 
Ratcliffe. 

 Mr. Ratcliffe had retired from National Cash Register Co. and Blocksom and Co. He 
attended Otterbein College in Dayton, Ohio, the University of Dayton and Ohio State 
University. He loved golf and woodworking. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the 
Korean Conflict, having achieved the rank of corporal. 

 On Nov. 6, 1953, in Dayton, he married Marcella Seibert, who survives. 

 Also surviving are two daughters, Susan (Scott) Sulski of Houston, Texas, and 
Kimberly (Mark) Glasgow of Lansing, Ill.; three grandchildren, Sarah and Michael 
Glasgow and Blake Sulski; and one sister, Jean Vogel Geiger of Dayton. 

 A memorial service will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 
Michigan City, with Rev. John D. Hall officiating. Friends may call today at Carlisle 
Funeral Home, Michigan City, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial of ashes will be at a later date in 
Twin Valley Cemetery, Preble County, Ohio. 

 Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 121 E. 7th St.,
