Ethel Louise Lynch (nee Phelps), age 87 of Cincinnati, OH and formerly of Kettering, 
OH and West Alexandria, OH, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the 
Marjorie P. Lee Episcopal Retirement Community, Cincinnati, OH. She was born 
February 20, 1923 at home on Preble/Montgomery County Line Road to the late 
Joshua and Vinnie Viola (nee Dils) Phelps. She was a member of The Church of the 
Redeemer, Cincinnati, OH. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Hargis 
Lynch who passed away September 7, 1974; brothers Roy, Ernest and Forest Phelps; 
and sisters Bertha Phelps and infant Linda Mae Phelps. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Patricia L. and David H. Knoll of 
Cincinnati, OH; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. 

Friends will be received from 12:30 P.M. until the time of funeral services at 1:30 P.M. 
on Friday, September 17, 2010 at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 
226 West Main Street, Eaton, OH with Rev. Charles Brumbaugh officiating. Burial will 
be in Fairview Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.
