Bertha Phelps, 96, formerly of West Second Street, West Alexandria, died Thursday 
July 22, at Heartland of Eaton. 

Born September 26, 1902, she was the daughter of Joshua and Vinnie (Dies) Phelps. 
She was a former member of the United Church of Christ in Farmersville. 

Survivors include a brother, Forrest Phelps of New Lebanon; a sister, Ethel Lynch of 
Kettering; nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Phelps and Roy Phelps.

Funeral services were Friday, July 23, at Lindloff-Zimmerman Funeral Home, West 
Alexandria, with the Rev. Lowell Spencer officiating. Burial was in Twin Valley 
Cemetery on Enterprise Road, West Alexandria.
