Louise Grace Holmes
Cedar City, Utah
Louise Grace Holmes, 84, returned home to her Heavenly Father on July 9, 2015 
surrounded by her family. Louise was born January 9, 1931, in Enterprise, Utah to 
Clifford Monroe and Grace Eliza Wadsworth. She married her sweetheart Harry 
Franklin Holmes Jr. on March 21, 1947 in the St George LDS Temple. She was an 
active member of the LDS church and held numerous positions throughout her life, 
including working in the St George Temple. She and her husband served a welfare 
mission at the Regional Bishops Storehouse. In her early marriage, Louise worked at 
the Old Hospital with her mother-in-law preparing meals. She also worked at various 
places including Christensen's Department Store, Hughs Cafe, and owning and 
operating Zion's Sun Floral. Frank and Louise shared a love of square dancing, 
spending time at their cabin and traveling. Louise loved to paint, cook, garden and 
maintain a meticulous home. She always made everyone feel welcome. Her greatest 
happiness was her family and she blessed them with her unwavering testimony of the 
Savior and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her children Bruce (Diane) Holmes; Janice Lambeth of Las Vegas; 
Lee (Teresa) Holmes and Layne (Lisa) Holmes both of Cedar City; 14 grandchildren; 24 
great-grandchildren; brother Clyde of Overton, Nevada; sisters-in-law Sharon, Janet 
and Connie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Franklin, son-in-law, 
Scott Lambeth; parents Clifford and Grace Wadsworth; brothers Vee, Melvin, Grant, 
and sister Ruby (Roy); and sister-in law-June.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Cedar LDS 
Rock Church (75 East Center Street). Viewings will be held on Thursday, July 16, 
2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at 
Southern Utah Mortuary (190 North 300 West). Interment will be in the Cedar City 
Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Online condolences can be

The family would like to thank Marie Prince, Ethan Bunker, Jake Holm and Dean 
Turner for their compassionate service to our mother and grandmother.
