Harry Franklin Holmes, Jr., 66, died February 7, 1994 in Cedar City, Utah.

Frank was born November 22, 1927 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Harry Franklin and 
Bertha Gray Holmes. He married his sweetheart, Louise Wadsworth, March 21, 1947 in 
the St. George LDS Temple. He was a very active member of the LDS Church and 
held numerous positions throughout his life. He presently was executive secretary to 
the bishop in the Cedar City 12th Ward, instructor in the High Priest Quorum, and 
serving a welfare mission with his wife at the Regional Bishop's Store House. Frank 
owned and operated The Clipper Barber Shop for over 48 years. He enjoyed talking 
with his customers and never met a person he didn't like. As the customer walked out 
of the barber shop, Frank would say, "Keep smiling." Frank enjoyed the outdoors and 
especially being in the mountains.Survivors: wife of Cedar City; children, Bruce and 
wife, Diane Holmes of Cedar City; Janice and husband, Scott Lambeth of Las Vegas, 
Nev.; Lee and and wife, Teresa Holmes; and Lane and wife, Lisa Holmes, all of Cedar 
City; 11 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Robert Holmes of Cedar City; William T. 
Holmes, Wendell Holmes, and Mildred Davis, all of Salt Lake City; Charlotte Reed, of 
West Valley City; and Janet Parry, of Pleasant Grove.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, February 11, 1994, at 11 a.m., in the 
Cedar City 12th LDS Ward Chapel, 79 East Center. Friends may call Thursday evening 
from 6-8 p.m. and Friday morning from 9:30-10:30 at the Southern Utah Mortuary. 
Interment, Cedar City Cemetery.
