Barbara Florence Tucker passed away on April 2, 2013 at McKay Dee Hospital. She 
was 89 years old.

She was born on September 14, 1923 in Duchesne, Utah to Robert and Florence 
Murray Perkins. 

She married Stanley H. Tucker on September 1, 1938 in Evanston, Wyoming. They 
started their life together in Springville, Utah then moved to Carlin, Nevada where they 
raised their six children. In 1978, they moved to Pleasant View, Utah which became 
their final home.

Besides making a wonderful home for her family, she worked as a waitress in Elko, 
Nevada for many years. When they moved to Utah, she worked as a seamstress in 
Brigham City and also for Coleman Knitting in Ogden. Barbara loved sewing and made 
the wedding dresses for her daughter and two of her granddaughters. Her hobbies 
also included canning, gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting and cooking.

Barbara was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life 
and served in many callings. She was sealed to Stanley H. Tucker in the Salt Lake 
LDS Temple.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Candace Tucker Brown of Ogden, UT; daughter-
in-law, Bridget Tucker of Florence, AZ; 12 grandchildren including, Wayne Joel Brown 
and Stephanie RaNae Brown Batt of Ogden, UT; Holly Ann Brown Hoss of Ivins, UT; 
Darren Rogers of Colorado Springs, CO; Dawn Eileen Tucker of Moscow, Russia; and 
Jennifer Amerson of Fallen, NV; 32 great-grandchildren; and sister, Leola (Perkins) 
Daniels of West Valley, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley; sons, Bobby, Jimmy, Rodney, 
Earl and Stanley O. Tucker.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant 
View Chapel, 2975 N. 1000 W., Pleasant View. Friends will meet with family Saturday 
from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. 

Interment, Carlin Cemetery, Carlin, NV on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11 a.m.
