HEADLINE: Harry E. Maule

Harry Edward Maule, 68, 10735 Route 52 N., Dubuque, died at 8:30 a.m.
Monday, March 4, 1996, at home.

Private family services were today. His body was donated to medical
science. The Egelhof-Casper-Strueber Funeral Home, 1145 Locust St., is in
charge of arrangements.

Mr. Maule was a supervisor at John Deere Dubuque Works, retiring in 1982.

He was born on March 16, 1927, in Richmond, Ind., son of Harry F. and Betty
(Mitchell) Maule.

He was a World War II Navy veteran and a member of the John Deere Retired
Supervisors Club and the John Deere Retired Interplant Bowling Association.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley A. Maule; two daughters, Maureen (Kenneth)
Erickson, of Dubuque, and Mary L. Maule, of Olathe, Kan.; two sons, Harry
S. (Laura) Maule, of Norwalk, Wis., and Larry J. Maule, of Dubuque; two
stepchildren, Brad (Sandra) Taylor, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Brenda (Gary)
Taylor Walker, of San Diego; five granddaughters, three great-grandchildren
and six step-grandchildren; his mother, Betty Coons, of El Paso, Texas; his
father, Harry F. Maule, of Richmond, Ind.; a sister, Snow Queen Able, of
Seymour, Ind.; two half brothers, Jerry Maule, of Richmond, Ind., and
Rodger Coons, of Alvin, Texas; and a step brother, Bob Coons, of Richmond,
Ind.

A Harry E. Maule Memorial Fund has been established. Memorials also may be
given to the American Heart Association Iowa Affiliate, 1005 Locust St.,
Dubuque.
