95, died Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, in Cedar Rapids, following a short illness. Graveside 
services - 11 a.m. Tuesday, Pineview Cemetery, Delaware. Friends may call after 10 
a.m. Tuesday at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 
Manchester. Local arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation 
Service, Cedar Rapids. 

 Survivors include three daughters, Shirley (Melvin) German and Margie Main, both of 
Cedar Rapids, and Evelyn (Wayne) Feally of LaCrosse, Wis.; a sister, Regina 
Bloomquist of Yellville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. 

 She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and a brother, Allen Wall. 

 Ethel was born Jan. 1, 1908, the daughter of Eugene and Adeline Allen Wall, in 
Taylor Township, Dubuque County. On Dec. 8, 1935, she married Evlon Schanbeck in 
Manchester. He died in 1946. Ethel worked as a nurse's aide for St. Luke's Hospital in 
Cedar Rapids for many years, retiring in 1973. 

 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Ethel's 
memory.
