Margie was born July 9, 1939, the daughter of Evlon and Ethel (Wall) Schan-beck, in 
Rowley, Iowa. On Jan. 1, 1960, she married John Main and lived in Independence, 
where they raised their four children. They later divorced and Margie moved to Cedar 
Rapids. 
Margie loved children and was a nanny for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Evelyn Feally.
