CEDAR FALLS - Louis G. Woock, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Aug. 5, at the 
Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo. 

 He was born Oct. 19, 1924, in Waterloo, son of Charles and Stella Markham Woock. 
He married Betty Lou Schanbeck Jan. 9, 1954, in Waterloo. She died March 12, 2006. 

 Mr. Woock was employed by the Jens Olsen Construction Co. as a truck driver, 
retiring in 1982. 

 Survived by: two sons, Dennis G. (Denise) Woock of Cedar Falls and Gary (Carolyn) 
Hunt of Hawthorne, Fla.; three daughters, Lori A. (Dale Kluth) Handberg of Cedar 
Falls, Cherry (Al) Payne of Charlottesville, Va., and Judy Partridge of Enfield, Conn.; 
14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. 

 Preceded in death by: four brothers; a sister; and a granddaughter. 

 Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home, with burial in Greenwood 
Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and for an hour before services 
Tuesday at the funeral home. 

 Memorials: may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
