Holland...John "Jay" L. Sherman, Jr., 63, died Monday, December 16, 2013, at Boston 
Medical Center. He leaves his wife of 10 years Marivani A. (Guarda) Sherman, his 
father John L. Sherman, Sr. of Brimfield, a brother Alan Sherman and his wife Nancy of 
Woodstock, CT, a stepson Pedro, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, grandnieces and 
grandnephews, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his mother Pia E. 
(Bracci) Sherman (1996), a brother James (2000) and a sister Priscilla (Sherman) 
Adams (1974).

Jay was born in Springfield, and graduated from Tantasqua Regional HS in 1968. He 
was a co-owner of Olde Village Realty in Sturbridge for many years. He enjoyed skiing, 
tennis, fishing and hunting.

Calling hours at Sansoucy Funeral Home 40 Marcy St. Southbridge will be Friday, 
December 20, 2013, from 4-7PM, with a funeral home service at 6:30PM, with Rev. 
Jonathan Slavinskas officiating. Burial will be private
