BRIMFIELD -- James R. Sherman, 38, of East Hill Road, a sales manager, died 
Saturday, Oct. 7, in Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge. 

 He leaves his wife, Brenda (Wemette) Sherman; two daughters, Nicole A. and 
Annalise E. Sherman, both at home; a son, Jonathan A. Sherman at home; his father, 
John L. Sherman of Brimfield; and two brothers, John L. Sherman Jr. of Holland and 
Alan E. Sherman of Woodstock. A sister, Priscilla Adams, died in 1974. He was born in 
Palmer, son of Pia (Bracci) Sherman, and graduated from Tantasqua Regional High 
School. 

 Mr. Sherman was sales manager 18 years for Sherwin-Williams in Milford. 

 He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Buckmasters, and the 
Quaboag Sportsmen's Club in Warren. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

 The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 11, in Brimfield Congregational 
Church, Route 20, at a time to be announced. Burial will be in Brimfield Cemetery. 
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Beers & Storey Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 
North Main St., Palmer. Memorial donations may be made to Hitchcock Academy, Main 
Street, Brimfield, MA 01010; or to Quaboag Valley Hospice, 103 Fairview St., Palmer, 
MA 01069.
