Glenn F. Booth, 79, Sarasota, died June 4, 2003. 

 He was born May 21, 1924, in Hanover, Kan., and came to Sarasota in 1974 from Isle 
of Palms, S.C. He retired in 1990 as a pharmacist for Walgreens in Florida, and was 
the former owner of Glenn's Drug Store in Youngstown, Ohio. He served in the Army 
during World War II and in the Navy Reserves during the Korean War. He received a 
bachelor's degree in science and a pharmacy degree from Western Reserve 
University, Cleveland. 

 Survivors include his wife, Marcialyn; a daughter, Margaret J. Newcomb of Nokomis; 
a sister, Gertrude Prince of Lexington, Ky.; and two grandchildren. 

 Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, with a service to follow, at Palms 
Funeral Home. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park. 

 Memorial donations may be made to Kensington Manor for residents in need, 3250 
12th St., Sarasota, FL 34237.
