Irene Livingston Nettles,56,died Tuesday at her home in
Hardeeville after a long illness.
 She was born in Savannah on Sept 22,1938.She was the daughter of David and 
Grace Griffin Livingston.She was the store manager for Malphrus Enterprises and she 
was a Baptist.
 Survivors include three sons,Fred J.Heath Jr.of Hilton Head Is;Lane Edwin Heath of 
El Paso,TX;and Franklin C. Nettles Jr.,of Hardeeville;five daughters,Candy Lee 
Massey.Sandra H.Hubbard,Patricia C.Crosby,Michelle T.Nettles,and Amanda Louise 
Nettles all of Hardeeville;two brothers,David Livingston Jr. of Lexington,Ky.,amd 
Junior
Livingston of Richmond Hill,Ga..five sisters,Jewel Wilkerson of Cordele,Ga.,Christine 
Johnson of Kansas City,Mo.,Willene Brantley and Mary Frances Russell both of 
Savannah;and Catherine Carter of Glenville,Ga.;and 12 Grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be 4 p.m.Thursday,in the Sauls Funeral Home Chapel with buriel
in Purrysburg Cemetery in Hardeeville.Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the 
funeral home.
 Sauls Funeral Home of Ridgeland is in charge of arrangements.
