FORT EDWARD -- Evelyn Marie Lemery, 85, of Burgoyne Avenue, passed away 
unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 3, 2005, at her home.

Born on Aug. 26, 1919, in Erie Pa., she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Leona 
(Durant) Ronan.

She married Donald J. Lemery Sr., in 1937, at St. Alphonsus Church in Glens Falls.

Evelyn taught ceramics first at her home in Fort Ann and then at her home in Fort 
Edward.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's/St. Paul's Catholic Church in Hudson Falls

Evelyn's involvement with her family was most important to her. She also enjoyed 
camping at Crown Point, doing crafts, especially ceramics and oil painting.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, 
Marion Pohl; two grandchildren, Denise Pepin and Michael Boquet Jr.; a great 
grandson, Clarence Kennison Jr.; and a son-in-law, John Varney Sr.

The Rite of Committal will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 6, at St. Paul's 
Cemetery on Vaughn Road, in the town of Kingsbury.

Arrangements are under the direction of Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St. in 
Hudson Falls.
