MICRO, North Carolina | Donald "Donny" Joseph Lemery Jr., 76, a native of Hudson
Falls, residing in Micro, North Carolina, passed away suddenly Nov. 29, 2015.
Born Dec. 21, 1938, he was the son of the late Donald and Evelyn Lemery Sr.
On Nov. 26, 1959, he married Nancy Jean Latulippe from Salem, New York.
Dad was a jack of all trades, excelling in carpentry and small engine repair. In his
younger years, Dad enjoyed playing the harmonica, hunting and fishing; he always
enjoyed reading Western books, family picnics, working on his coin collection with his
daughter, Shelley, and we all know he enjoyed his beer. His true passion was his
vegetable gardens. He was always so proud to show them off.
Donny is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy; his children, Steven (Andrea)
Lemery, James Lemery, Cindy (Steve) Brown, Shelley (Elliott) Granger III; his
grandchildren, Elliott (Ashton) Granger IIII, Eric Granger and Ashley Lemery; his first
great-grandchild to be born in May 2016; his siblings, Patricia Varney, Kathryn
(Marcel) Pepin and Marion (Michael) Boquet; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
At his request, there will be no calling hours. To honor our father, there will be a huge
family picnic at Crown Point Campground in New York. Details to follow at a later date.
