KIMBERLY - Kathryn Louise Lapp, 89, of Kimberly, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, after 
a brief struggle with cancer. 

 She was born Aug. 25, 1918, in Cataldo, a daughter of Allen D. and Eva Smith. 
Kathryn was a longtime resident of northern Idaho until moving to Kimberly in the early 
1990s. She enjoyed family outings and activities at the Ageless Senior Center in 
Kimberly. 

 Kathryn is survived by her sister, Mary E. Bryson of Twin Falls; three nephews, Robert 
Bryson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Patrick Bryson of Dell Haven, N.J., and Roy Gowey of 
Cataldo. A sister, Agnes Gowey of Cataldo, and her parents preceded her in death. 

 The family thanks those who provided care for Kathryn at Heritage Assisted Living in 
Twin Falls and the hospice nurses who assisted and helped her. 

 A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11, at the Paul 
Cemetery in Paul. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Monday at White 
Mortuary "Chapel by the Park" in Twin Falls.
