Dorothy Iris Foltz, age 80, died Tuesday, October 25, 2005, at the Harrisonburg 
Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mrs. Foltz was born June 23, 1925, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was the daughter of 
the late Carl and Alice (Gardener) Rhodes. She was also preceded in death by her 
husband John E. Foltz and two sisters, Wanita Snyder and Joyce Carver.

Dorothy retired as an Executive Secretary for the State of Virginia.

Survivors include two sisters, Helen Alexander of Port Republic and Donna Rhodes of 
Harrisonburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The Rev. James Kite will conduct a graveside service Friday, October 28, 2005, at 
10:00 a.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in New Market.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Kyger Funeral Home in 
Harrisonburg.
