JAMES W. MADDEN, 63 LOVES PARK - James W. Madden, 63, of Loves Park passed 
away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2009. Born Oct. 19, 1945, in Moose Lake, Minn., son of 
Reginald and Elaine (Nichols) Madden. Married Connie Surplus in 1981 in Las Vegas. 
He was a machinist and an avid fisherman and pool player. Survivors include wife, 
Connie; sons, Patrick (Jenny) Madden, Nicholas Madden and Jimmy Lamb; daughters, 
Colleen Madden and Leslie Littlejohn; brother, Chris Hendrickson; sister, Gwen 
(Rocky) Anderson; grandchild, Chelsea Madden; special friends, Jill Miles, Billy 
Lindquist, David and Carolyn Oslund, and Rick McCarthy. Service at 4 p.m. Saturday, 
Sept. 12, in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory, Rockford Chapel, 4311 N.
