Orlin Stubbs 4/6/12 ~ 5/22/03 Orlin Stubbs, 91, of Orem, died May 22, 2003, at his 
home in Orem.  He was born April 6, 1912, in Provo, Utah to John William and 
Margaret Ritchie Stubbs. He married Norma Pierce of Provo on March 11, 1932, their 
marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  Orlin was a farmer for 
most of his life. He had a plastering business, and later an excavating business. He 
helped with the construction of the Ironton Plant, where he did work as a cement 
finisher, and he also worked on the Rail Road out of Deer Creek for the Heber 
Creeper.  Orlin was known for his great sense of humor and had a great love for his 
large family.  He is survived by his children: LeRoy Stubbs, Provo; Eldon John Stubbs, 
Spanish Fork; Ronald, deceased; Norma Jean Ames, Orem; Shirl P. Stubbs, Mesquite, 
NV; Arlene Dillingham, Orem; Bernell John Stubbs, Geneva, Idaho; Sherry Glazier, 
Pleasant Grove; Russell John Stubbs, Spanish Fork; and Fern Hardy, Sadotna, AK; 43 
grandchildren, 93 great-grandchildren, and 27 great-great-grandchildren. His lovely 
wife Norma and loving son Ronald preceded him in death.  Funeral services will be 
held Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., in the Sharon 4th Ward LDS Chapel, 445 
South 700 East, Orem. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East 
Center Street, Monday evening, from 6-8 p.m., or Tuesday morning, at the Ward 
Chapel, one hour prior to services.  Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
