Nancy J. Petrich, of Sioux Falls, SD died Saturday, November 12, 2005 at Avera 
McKennan Hospital. Memorial Services have been planned for 10:00am Thursday, 
November 17, 2005 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Visitation will begin 9:00am 
Wednesday, November 16, 2005 with family present from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Miller 
Funeral Home 13th & Main. 

Nancy Jean Farrell was born February 15, 1944 in Madison, SD to Robert and Doris 
(Feragen) Farrell. She grew up in Sioux Falls attending Washington High School, 
graduating in 1962. Nancy married George H. Petrich at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church 
on June 6, 1975. 


They made their home in Sioux Falls where Nancy raised her family and had a 32-year 
career at Wells Fargo. 


Nancy was a volunteer for the March of Dimes, Ronald McDonald House, and the 
School Mentor Program. 


Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, George Petrich of Sioux Falls; 
son, Mark Erschens of Sioux Falls; daughter, Julie Erschens of Sioux Falls; 
granddaughter, Ashley Erschens of Sioux Falls; mother, Doris Farrell of Sioux Falls; 
brothers, Tom (Sheryl) Farrell of Sioux Falls and Dick (Linnette) Farrell of Boston, MA 
and sister, Becky (Dan) Steele of Jackson, CA. 
Her father, Robert, preceded Nancy in death.
