of USS Juneau, Commander Porter awarded Legion of Merit with combat V, for leading 
a demolition patrol of 4 USN and 5 US MC ashore to detonate an enemy railroad 
tunnel, from USS Mandsfield. It was the first formation to invade North Korea. retired 
as a captain
