Paul Eugene Wise 59, 7077 N CR 33, died at 2:45 p.m. Friday Feb 12, 1988, at St. 
Vincent's Medical Center in Toledo. He was born Oct. 11, 1928 in Old Fort to John C. 
and Marie (Havens) Wise. His father is deceased. His mother, Marie (Havens) Hoover, 
survives in Tiffin. He was married May 16, 1954 in the Old Fort United Methodist 
Church to Loretta M. Fritz, who survives. Also surviving are a son, John P. of Edmond, 
Oklahoma.; three daughters, Mrs. Scott (Rise') Labig of Greenville, and Rene' and 
Richelle Wise at home; a grandson; two brothers, Donald J. Wise and Robert C. Wise, 
both of Fremont; and two sisters, Mrs. Rolland (Helen) Dermer of Bowling Green and 
Mrs. Joe (Karen) Cahill of LaVerne, Calif. A brother is deceased. Mr. Wise, a 1946 Old 
Fort High School graduate, was well known in the farming community. He was a 
lifetime member of the Old Fort United Methodist Church, a 30-year member of the 
Green Springs Community Band, and was a member of the Ohio and International 
Flying Farmers organizations. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the 
Engle-Young Funeral Home innGreen Springs by the Rev. Charles E. Selby, with burial 
in Pleasant Union Cemetary. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. Memorials may 
be made to the church.
