Nicholas Rodia, 86, of Aldan, a retired commercial realtor with the Jackson Cross Co., 
died Sept. 13 at Delaware County Memorial Hospital. 

Mr. Rodia worked in the commercial real estate division of Jackson Cross Co. in 
center city Philadelphia for a number of years. Following retirement, he became 
employed by the Corporation for the Relief of Widows and Orphans of the 
Pennsylvania Diocese of the Episcopal Church. 

A graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, in 1947, Mr. Rodia 
previously served with the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and took part in 
the African and European theaters of operations. 

He was a past president of the Visiting Nurses Society of Delaware County. 

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Bottomley Rodia; a son, Nicholas Rodia Jr. of Drexel 
Hill, Upper Darby; and a brother, Charles Rodia of Broomall, Marple Township. 

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Kish Funeral Home, Sproul 
and Lawrence roads, Marple. Burial will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park, Concord. 
Calling hours are from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.
