FREMONT — Mary F. Rodia, a Fremont resident for 36 years, died at Washington 
Hospital on Friday, Feb. 18, 2005. She was 98. 

Born in Oakland on Dec. 29, 1906, Mrs. Rodia enjoyed cooking and gardening. 

She is survived by her son, Arnold Rodia of Fremont; her sister, Theresa Heider of 
Clearlake; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-
grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred F. Rodia; her son, Alfred L. Rodia; 
and her daughter, Valerie Rodia. 

A private family service will be held.
