Arnold R. Rodia, resident of Fremont of 22 years, died November 30th, 2008. He was 
born on May 20, 1933 in Oakland, Ca., he was 75 years old. He is preceded in death 
by his Father Alfred F. Rodia, mother Mary F. Rodia, brother Alfred L. Rodia and sister 
Valerie A. Rodia. Before retiring, Arnold Worked for Raychem Manufacturing for over 
30 years. He was a United States Veteran, serving in the Navy during the Korean 
War. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and member of National Rifle Association. 
Arnold was a fun life loving man, whose personality won you over in a second. His 
love for his family brought him much happiness. Joceslyn his granddaughter was the 
light of his life; he was blessed with her company and unconditional love for 3 years. 
He was a wonderful Uncle, Father Son and Friend. He dedicated the last 20 years of 
his life to his beloved mother Mary F. Rodia before her passing 3 years ago. He is 
survived by his beloved son Justin Rodia, Daughters Robin Parks, and Tanya Rodia. 
He was very blessed by his 5 grandchildren Joceslyn Rodia, Gerald Rodia, Caitlyn 
Parks, Zachary Parks, and Santa Parks. He leaves behind his extended family who he 
cherished dearly; His Aunt Theresa Heider, and his cousin Gary Heider. His best friend 
and niece Catherine Rodia - Juday. Nieces Deborah Silber and Jeanne Phillips. 
Great-niece and God-child Micalya Sibler, niece Becky Silber, great-nephews Matthew 
Rodia, Andrew Sibler and Ethan Sibler. He was also very honored to be best friends 
with Darlene & Ted Marshall. All services will be private and directed under P.L. Fry & 
Son Funeral Home of Manteca. All contributions can be made in Lieu of Flowers to 
Hospice of San Joaquin 3888 Pacific Street Stockton, CA 9204
