Josephine Rodia McCashion, 85 of Marlborough, Mass., widow of John McCashion, 
died December 7, at Marlborough Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, she was the daughter 
of Ermelinda Calogero Rodia and was a lifelong area resident before moving to 
Massachusetts. 

Survivors include two beloved daughters, Gail Poulter, and husband Henry, of Groton, 
Mass., and Charleen Mazzeo of Milford; four siblings including Angelina Zakhar of 
Newtown; four grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and 
nephews. 

She worked for Bridgeport Hospital for 12 years, retiring 23 years ago. Prior to the 
hospital she was employed with United Liquors for 20 years. 

She enjoyed gardening, but had a passion for cooking for her loving family. 

A Mass of Christian Burial Took place December 12. Interment was in St John's 
Cemetery, Stratford.
