John A. Ciletta, a former Philadelphia police officer and Atlantic City casino employee, 
died Tuesday. He was 40 and lived in Brigantine, N.J. 

Ciletta was a policeman for 14 years before leaving on disability in 1980. He then 
joined the security force at Harrah's Casino. He later became a dealer and eventually 
was promoted to floor person. 

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge 5, and the Men of Malvern, 
St. Jude's Group. 

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; a son, John Jr.; a daughter, Michelle; his 
parents, Sam and Grace Ciletta; and a brother. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Nicholas of 
Tolentine Church, 9th and Watkins streets. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, 
Norristown. Friends may call tonight at Carto Funeral Home Inc., 2212-14 S. Broad St.
