SALVATORE "BUDDY" DONIO, 83, of Hammonton, died Friday at the University of 
Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. 

Mr. Donio was a fruit and vegetable farmer who retired in 1983 as the owner of Donio 
Farms Inc. 

Born in Rosedale, he lived in Hammonton most of his life and was a communicant of 
the St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church, Hammonton. 

He was a member of the Camden County Board of Agriculture and the New Jersey 
Farm Bureau, and was an executive committeeman of the New Jersey Small Fruits 
Council. 

Surviving are his wife, Sue; two sons, Dennis of Hammonton and the Rev. Thomas S. 
of Absecon; two daughters, Lois C. Hickey of Columbia, S.C., and Susan G. Donio of 
Boston; one brother, Carmine "Knute" Donio of Winslow Township; nine sisters, Lucy 
Capuano and Pauline Ferraro, both of Philadelphia, Margaret Donio and Edith Donio, 
both of Rosedale, Jennie Bianchi of Berlin, Catherine DiBlase of Atco, Ann Prejean of 
Kerrville, Texas, Mary Perna of Winslow Township and Gloria Cappuccio of 
Hammonton; and four grandchildren. 

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic 
Church, Hammonton. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at 
the Landolfi Funeral Home, 237 Bellevue Ave., Hammonton. 

Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Hammonton. 

Donations may be made to the St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church Building 
Fund, Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton 08037.
